I said last week that surprise results in the Premier League might continue for a few more weeks yet and boy was I right!

I don’t think too many thought Leeds would beat Chelsea 3-0 or that Liverpool’s first Premier League defeat of 2022 would be at the hands of Manchester United.

Looking ahead to Matchday 4 and we have seven fixtures on Saturday.

In the early kick off we have Southampton taking on Manchester United at St Mary’s stadium. Both teams will be buoyed by their wins last weekend but consistency is the key and I’m finding it difficult to make a case for either team to put back to back wins together. As a result, I’m going for a 1-1 draw in this one.

In the three o’clock kick offs, I’m going for Brentford to beat Everton 1-0, Brighton to build on their great start to the season with a 2-0 win at home against Leeds United, Chelsea to bounce back with a 3-1 win against Leicester City, Liverpool to finally find their scoring boots and beat Bournemouth 3-0 at Anfield, Manchester City to see off an impressive looking Crystal Palace with a 3-0 win and then in the 5.30pm kick off, I’m going for Arsenal to maintain their 100% start to the season with a 3-1 win over Fulham at the Emirates.

On Sunday, I fancy Aston Villa to add to West Ham’s miserable start to the season by beating them 2-1 at Villa Park. I also fancy Wolves to play out a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United and finally I fancy Tottenham Hotspur to pick up another three points with a 2-1 away win at the City Ground.
