Hi Everyone
Here we go again with the first full set of fixtures in 2023!
All the teams will be looking for a positive start to the new calendar year or at worst, they’ll be wanting to make sure that it’s not a bad one! Therefore I’m going for four draws this week. These are Leeds United versus West Ham United; Crystal Palace versus Tottenham Hotspur; Everton versus Brighton and Southampton versus Nottingham Forest.
I also fancy Liverpool to beat Brentford away and Manchester City to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but that’s it for away wins this week.
In thinking about matches that are too close to call, obviously predicting a draw suggests it could go either way so this week I say be careful about those matches and just remember, sometimes your best bet is not to bet at all.
